Carl Zeiss ZE Lens Kit 1

1)Carl Zeiss Distagon 15mm f/2.8 ZE :-

The Zeiss Distagon T* 15mm f/2.8 ZE Lens for Canon EF Mount is a precision ultra wide-angle lens built with a Carl Zeiss T* anti-reflection coating that yields images with depth, contrast, and brilliance even under difficult lighting situations. It also delivers photos with contrasting edges, without color fringing. This manual focus ultra wide-angle provides the photographer with a tool that enables dramatic perspectives and creative possibilities. It’s useful for landscape photography, interiors and other subjects that require its unique spatial organization. It focuses to 9.84″ (24.99 cm).

The 15mm f/2.8 features electronic shutter control and additional electronic contacts to the camera. All existing exposure programs (P, AV, TV, M) and the AF confirmation function of the camera are supported; lens information (focal length and speed) is passed on to the camera. Certain functions that require the use of AF lenses (various scene modes, A-DEP) are partially unavailable. The Distagon T* 15mm f/2.8 comes with an EF bayonet (ZE) mount for Canon film and digital full-frame SLRs. It has a M95 x 1.0 size filter thread and a built-in lens shade.

Extraordinary chromatic aberration correction

Prevention of color fringes caused by chromatic aberration almost without exception.

Two aspheric lenses, special types of glass with exceptional partial dispersion and the floating elements design, guarantee high image quality from close-up to infinity.

Anti-reflective coating and the advanced treatment of the lens edges with special dark black lacquers ensure insensitivity to reflections and stray light.

Whether salt crystals or drops of water-its integrated lens shade and standard filter thread afford the front lens optimal protection from wind and weather.

2)Carl Zeiss Distagon 25mm f/2.8 ZE :-

The wide angle Distagon T* 25mm f/2.0 ZE Lens for Canon EF Mount is the most advanced version of the legendary Distagon, a high-performance manual focusing lens with close focus capabilities, first introduced in 1961. The Distagon T* 25mm f/2.0 ZE is a recalculation of this design, with an exceptionally fast f/2.0 maximum aperture, for use with modern SLRs and DSLRs using either full-frame or smaller sensors.

This manually focusable ZE lens features electronic shutter control and additional electronic contacts to the camera. All existing exposure programs (P, AV, TV, M) and the AF confirmation function of the camera are supported; lens information (focal length and speed) is passed on to the camera. Certain functions that require the use of AF lenses (various scene modes, A-DEP) are partially unavailable.

Increasing the versatility of this 25mm f/2.0 lens is its close focusing distance of only 9.8″, providing a wider perspective than usual. Combined with a digital SLR with a 1.5x crop factor, the lens has an effective focal length of 38mm and becomes a moderate wide angle lens.

This precision lens delivers breathtaking images. It is ideally suited for nature and landscapes, but you can get amazing perspectives on almost any subject from portraits to products…all you need is your creativity.

Exceptionally fast f2.0 maximum aperture provides superb low-light capabilities

Chromatic aberrations on this lens have been virtually eliminated, thanks to a special optical construction and selection of optical glass.

Two aspheric lens surfaces correct distortion and image field curvature, and the floating elements design creates high imaging performance, regardless of the distance of the subject.

The almost circular design of the aperture produces an exceptional “bokeh”, beautifully reproducing the out-of-focus areas of the image.

This lens features a precise focusing mechanism with a large rotation angle. Operating it manually means controlling the picture with your fingertips.

Zeiss lenses are famous for the exceptional quality of the pictures they provide. They boast optimum control of glare and stray light to ensure brilliant images. No matter how demanding the subject, perspectives, colors, and lighting situations are reproduced perfectly – over the entire full-frame image field.

3)Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2 ZE

Pairing manual focus precision with a versatile wide-angle perspective, the Distagon T* 35mm f/2 ZE Lensfrom Zeiss is an ideal all-around lens that is particularly well-suited to journalistic applications. Featuring a fast f/2 maximum aperture, this lens also excels in difficult lighting conditions and offers fine-tuned control over selective focus placement. Utilizing the Distagon optical design with floating elements and anomalous partial dispersion glass, distortion and aberrations are minimized and high sharpness is maintained edge to edge. Additionally, a Carl Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to elements in order to suppress lens flare and ghosting for maintained contrast and clarity.

The sophisticated optical design is housed within a robust all-metal lens barrel for greater durability and precision. The manual focusing ring offers dampened 113° rotation for fine-tuned control and engraved depth of field and distance scales benefit the use of pre-focusing techniques. This ZE-series lens is dedicated to Canon EF-mount cameras, and features an electronic interface to support camera-based adjustment over exposure settings.

Prime wide-angle lens designed for Canon EF-mount full-frame DSLRs and 35mm film cameras. It is also compatible with APS-C-format DSLRs, where it will provide a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 56mm.

This lens features the Distagon optical design with floating element construction and one partial dispersion element to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion while offering increased sharpness and even illumination.

Carl Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections in order to provide greater image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.

Manual focus design is benefitted by the inclusion of both distance and depth of field scales for precise control.

A rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to an aesthetic out-of-focus quality.

This ZE-series lens supports Canon DSLRs’ electronic interface for camera-based control over exposure settings and in-camera focus confirmation.

4)Carl Zeiss Planer 50mm f/1.4 ZE

The Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T* Lens is a high-speed standard lens for the exacting 35mm SLR photographer. Considered by professional photographers to be one of the world’s best SLR lenses (if not the best), this “ZE” lens is now available for the Canon EF (EOS) bayonet SLR system.

All existing exposure programs (P, AV, TV, M) and the AF verification function of the camera are supported, and lens information (focal length and speed) is passed on to the camera. Certain functions that require the use of AF lenses (various subject programs, A-DEP) are partially unavailable.

The Planar lens with its front-and-back symmetry was invented by Dr. Paul Rudolf and is one of the best-known Carl Zeiss T* lenses. It is remarkably effective in eliminating aberrations and possesses very high definition allowing contrast in the subject to be faithfully reproduced.

5)Carl Zeiss Planer 85mm f/1.4 ZE

The Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T* lens is a short, high speed telephoto lens built for the exacting SLR photographer. It provides an unusually bright and clear image in the finder. Even at full aperture, it delivers top image quality. Its angle of view and exceptional performance make the Planar T* 1.4/85 ZF the lens of choice for portraiture on location or in the studio.

Now offered as a “ZE” type lens, which makes it compatible with any camera that uses the Canon EF bayonet lens mount. All existing exposure programs (P, AV, TV, M) and the AF verification function of the camera are supported, and lens information (focal length and speed) is passed on to the camera. Certain functions that require the use of AF lenses (various subject programs, A-DEP) are partially unavailable.

The lens’ shallow depth of field at wide apertures allows the use of selective focus. This helps to emphasize the primary subject by defocusing the background.

The 9-blade, circular aperture produces a smooth and natural rendition of defocused images, as well as nearly circular shapes of point sources of light.

Geometrical distortion is imperceptibly low, allowing high quality documentation photographs, both analog and digital.
