- 2 X 4 Solid Black Flag is used to block all light from the subject. With various functions on set like thwarting flare from a light falling on the camera lens, creating a light ratio on a cloudy day, partially obstructing a light, or even, depending on its size, used as a background. The flag is made of a deep black fabric stretched over a metal frame which has a pin that fits in a grip head.
